C.M.P. Feb. 2021 Featured Writers Lineup

The month of February is for lovers, that’s why it’s the shortest. I’m kidding…there’s nothing wrong with love. In one form or another—people, pets, places, things—we’ve all felt it. Shit, I love Y’all. The ones here just for the read AND the writers that send in work. If it weren’t for y’all, Cajun Mutt Press wouldn’t exist. So keep reading, keep writing, keep sending submissions. But, with that being said, please don’t send me squishy rhyming love poems. Sorry to sound contradictory but I prefer the gritty stuff.

If you’d like to send some work for a featured writer spot email 1-3 poems to cajunmuttpress@gmail.com along with a bio and author photo. I have a few spots left to fill for April then I’ll be reading for May.

Also, I’m still NOT taking manuscripts. COVID severely screwed up my publishing schedule last year, and I have a stockpile of stuff to go through. I do have four book releases lined up, but the full 2021 schedule is yet to be determined.

I’ve been thinking of breaking free from KDP as well, and only publishing short chapbooks so I can make them myself at home. Maybe change things up and see how that goes for a while. What do y’all think? Not sure what my next move will be, but I’ll keep y’all informed. Sorry if you’ve sent a manuscript and I haven’t gotten back to you yet.
