Rorschach’s Journal

I see androids,
happily enslaved,
laughing their clenched asses off
to terrible jokes
and demeaning tasks on loop,
courtesy job level six and above.

They have grown so accustomed
to glorified thraldom
that they no longer
seem to remember
the skin beneath
their custom-issue masks;

that for want of routine
exposure to the elements,
the skin underneath
has begun to decay.
For some,
rotten beyond recognition.
