Storms
Forever covered head to toe
In two tones;
Black and blue.
Conquerors of the concrete,
with a backpack of paint
instead of a flag and a gun.
Outlaw artists
racing the sunrise
and coating themselves in shadow
before coloring the bricks.
Guerrilla warfare,
hit and run.
Killers gone by morning
leaving blues and calling cards
for agitated cops
and ignorant crowds.
